City Park will soon present new trails, ponds, and bridges along Big Dry Creek as part of the Streambank Restoration Project, improving water quality and flood management. This revitalization includes planting native vegetation and constructing amenities for community enjoyment. City Park Pond will store reclaimed water and be separate from Big Dry Creek.
Sheridan Green Redevelopment & Stratford Park Expansion Underway
Significant changes are underway in the Sheridan Green neighborhood as deconstruction begins at the former Sheridan Green Elementary site for the Stratford Park expansion. The park will grow from six to twelve acres, featuring modern amenities. Community input has guided this redevelopment, with completion expected by late 2026.
