Westminster Saves Nearly $100 Million on Drinking Water Facility After Strategic City Council-led Review
Following a City Council-led review, the City reduced the cost of the new Westminster Boulevard Drinking Water Facility by nearly $100 million. Originally estimated at $304 million, the project will now proceed with a $206 million budget.

Mayor McNally and City Councillor Claire Carmelia joined GFiber to break ground on a new fiber optic network in the Sheridan Green neighborhood. Westminster is the second city in Colorado to receive GFiber service.

How It’s Blade: Anatomy of a Snowplow
Westminster's Public Works and Utilities Department is tasked with plowing more than 1,100 lane miles of road to keep residents safe during winter storms. It takes a team of trained and dedicated operators starting as early as 2 a.m. to get a jump on each storm.

‘Clearopathra’ and ‘CTRL+SALT+DELETE’ Officially Join Snowplow Fleet
Two snowplows were officially named by City staff using custom-designed decals and resident-submitted names. After residents submitted their punniest names and voted for their favorites, Clearopathra and CTRL+SALT+DELETE officially joined the fleet. Be on the lookout for these punny plows this winter and beyond.
