The Height of Holiday Spirit
The City of Westminster boasts expansive outdoor spaces and the tallest living decorated Christmas tree in Colorado, over 64 feet tall. Located at Fire Station 1, the tree lighting ceremony on December 5 is a century-old tradition, featuring community participation, holiday decorations, and a visit from Santa Claus on a fire truck.

Regardless of age or ability level, the City offers a wide range of opportunities from working with our staff in the greenhouse, and helping out with Westminster’s fun seasonal events, to contributing to archiving projects at our libraries, and serving as a victim’s advocate in the police department.
