Westminster PD Honors Fallen Arvada Officer with Memorial Ride

To honor Officer Dillon Vakoff, Westminster Senior Police Officer Adam Lanning participated in the Police Unity Tour, a 250-mile group bike ride from New Jersey to the Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C. Throughout the journey, Officer Lanning carried a bracelet engraved with Officer Vakoff's name and delivered it in person to his family at the memorial.

Norm Haubert Selected as Westminster’s Chief of Police

The City of Westminster has selected Norm Haubert as its chief of police. After an exhaustive vetting process involving over 300 community members including City Council, Fraternal Order of Police representatives, police and fire department personnel, leaders across the Denver Metro Area, and City staff, City Manager Mark Freitag selected Chief Haubert to lead the Westminster Police Department (WPD). Haubert previously served as interim police chief.
