A Place to Play: New Parks, Playgrounds, and Pickleball Courts in the Works
Westminster is enhancing its parks through community input, with numerous projects planned for the upcoming years. Improvements include new playgrounds, expanded parks, upgraded facilities, and the creation of Downtown Center Park. Additionally, a new pickleball facility is set to open in 2024. These developments aim to enrich outdoor experiences for residents.
Connecting Community and Nature
It was during his 6th grade year at Colorado STEM Academy in 2017, that the City of Westminster approached Ronan’s class to help bring to life an innovative and creative plan. The goal was to create a playground that provided children of all ages and backgrounds with equitable access to the great outdoors in Historic Westminster.
