Metzger Farm Open Space, near 120th Avenue and Lowell Boulevard, is rooted in the inspiring story of John Metzger, a self-made attorney general and businessman. The property transitioned from homesteading to a community oasis, becoming a wildlife habitat and recreational area, collaboratively managed by Westminster and Broomfield since 2005.
