The city was acknowledged for initiatives like the Westy Water portal and a strategic approach to funding and customer service by the IT department.
Walnut Creek Golf Preserve Recognized for Environmental Excellence
For 20 years, the golf course has maintained certification as an Audubon Signature Sanctuary by Audubon International. The honor recognizes the golf course’s efforts to protect and conserve the natural landscape of the course at 10555 Westmoor Drive, in addition to prioritizing water conservation, wildlife habitat management, outreach, and education.
