Westminster’s Lance Johnson Inducted Into Colorado Golf Hall of Fame
Lance Johnson, Parks, Golf and Open Space Manager in Westminster since 1993, has transformed the city into a golfing destination with the establishment of Legacy Ridge and Walnut Creek Golf Preserve. His recent induction into the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame celebrates his impactful career and commitment to community, conservation, and golf culture.
HOPE on the Green: Legacy Ridge Hosts Veterans Golf Program
The no-cost program welcomes those of all ages, branches of service, and golf abilities to develop their game and enjoy time amongst new friends in their community. Westminster’s inaugural PGA HOPE program was hosted by Legacy Ridge Golf Course this summer, where participants received six weeks of instruction from PGA HOPE Certified Instructor Visanu Tongwarin, also known as “Coach V”.
Golf Westminster Completes Renovations at Legacy Ridge and Walnut Creek
Following a multi-year renovation project, Golf Westminster is excited to welcome back golfers to a new and improved Walnut Creek and Legacy Ridge. The renovations at both courses focused primarily on replacing aging irrigation systems with newer technology that will make maintenance more efficient and sustainable, all while improving playability.
