Whether you’re facing unexpected expenses or need a little extra support, our community offers a range of resources to help. This guide highlights City and county programs designed to provide financial assistance.

Housing Resources

While the City of Westminster is not a direct provider of housing, we partner closely with the local housing authorities in Adams and Jefferson Counties and non-profit organizations that do provide housing and housing services. In addition, we work alongside county staff to allocate federal dollars to assist low-income individuals and families. Learn more.

Emergency and Essential Home Repair

The City of Westminster’s Emergency and Essential Home Repair (EEHR) Program provides up to $10,000 in eligible home repairs to income-qualified, owner-occupied households in Westminster. From start to finish, repairs can be completed within weeks after a resident begins the application process. For emergency repairs, the City’s partners can prioritize work to begin within days if needed. Learn more.

  • Electrical
  • Furnace repair/replacement
  • Water heater repair/replacement
  • Accessibility improvements e.g. wheelchair ramps, hand railings

Water Bill Assistance

Our Water Bill Assistance Programs help make water and sewer bills more affordable for income-qualified customers, as well as those customers experiencing a short-term financial impact due to a difficult life event.
