Help us celebrate 10 years of supporting local students by collecting 10,000 school supply items this summer! The City is once again partnering with A Precious Child to collect backpacks and other supplies for children in need in our community. From now through August 1, you can drop off donations at several City facilities including:
-City Hall (4800 W. 92nd Ave.)
-Public Safety Center (9110 Yates St.)
-City Park Recreation Center (10455 Sheridan Blvd.)
-City Park Fitness Center (10475 Sheridan Blvd.)
-Swim & Fitness Center (3290 W. 76th Ave.)
-West View Recreation Center (10747 W. 108th Ave.)
-The MAC (3295 W. 72nd Ave.)
-Countryside Pool (10470 Oak St.)
-Westminster Sports Center (6051 W. 95th Ave.)
-Irving Street Library (7392 Irving St.)
-College Hill Library (3705 W. 112th Ave.)
-Walnut Creek Golf Preserve (10555 Westmoor Dr.)
-Legacy Ridge Golf Course (10801 Legacy Ridge Pkwy.)
-Standley Lake Nature Center (11610 W. 100th Ave.)
All donations can be dropped off in the yellow collection bins located at each facility. Highest needed items include backpacks, pencils, highlighters, and notebooks. Thank you for participating and making the upcoming school year a little less stressful for families in need.
