Westminster's most outrageous event, the Adult Egg Hunt, returned for 2024! Definitely not for kiddos, this one-of-a-kind event included over $3,000 in prizes during two egg hunts, an egg toss, egg races, and the Outrageous Bonnet Contest. The event was held at Walnut Creek Golf Preserve, and sponsored by Turnbuckle Distilling.

Fire with Fire: WFD Breast Cancer Survivor Sparks Change Statewide
Lieutenant Tracy Post of the Westminster Fire Department, diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer, fought for coverage of the disease under the Colorado Firefighters Trust. After her appeal was initially rejected, she conducted extensive research and eventually succeeded in adding breast cancer to state coverage, impacting future firefighters significantly.

One-Stop-Drop Recycling: New Sustainability Center Coming Soon
Starting this spring, Westminster will simplify recycling with a new one-stop-drop sustainability center at 6020 West 91st Avenue, accessible to most residents.
